Northern Montana Hospital Volunteers spread joy with Baby Bibs for Newborns

From From Crystal Glade, Northern Montana Health Care marketing and public relations coordinator

The members of the Northern Montana Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary have once again found a heartfelt way to give back to the community, this time by focusing on its smallest members! In their latest project, the volunteers partnered with local vendor Christina Schweigert, owner of Schwags Swag, to create colorful baby bibs for the newborns of Northern Montana Hospital. The volunteers recently donated 104 bibs, ensuring that every new mother at Northern Montana Hospital receives a special gift to celebrate their baby's arrival.

"This is such a gracious act done by the volunteers," said Director of Volunteer Services Elizabeth Lindbom. "It highlights the kindness and the objective of the organization, which is to volunteer time and effort into improving the quality of hospital life."

The volunteers' enthusiasm for this project is contagious.

"I'm thrilled to share that we've launched this amazing project!" said volunteer Carra Palmer. "These adorable keepsakes come from the heart of NMH Volunteers, adding a special touch to each little one's arrival. It's a wonderful way to celebrate new beginnings!"

The community connection doesn't end there. Christina Schweigert, who crafted the bibs, runs Schwags Swag and is available locally for custom orders. She can be contacted through Facebook or via email at [email protected].

The Northern Montana Hospital Volunteer Auxiliary continues to focus on the power of kindness and community. Their efforts not only bring joy to patients but also inspire others to get involved.

"This organization is not only fulfilling, it's fun. We're one big family and always looking to add to our bunch. If you or someone you know may be interested, please contact me at 406-262-1330," said Lindbom.
