Havre Daily News staff

Montana State University-Northern is inviting groups to come tell its students what the groups do in the community.

The Fourth Annual MSUN Community Involvement Fair is set for Tuesday, Jan. 21, 2025, from noon to 5 p.m. in Northern's Student Union Building Ballroom.

Community Non-Profits, Service Organizations, Entities serving the community and Agencies looking for volunteers, interns or employees to serve the campus and greater Havre community are invited to register.

In 1994, Martin Luther King, Jr. Federal Holiday was designated as a national day of service. In celebration of Dr. King, Montana State University-Northern is inviting local non-profits, service organizations and other agencies that serve our community to our campus to provide information about their mission, past community service events and ways students and other community members can get involved.

"Each participating organization will be provided with a table and chair(s). We encourage you to provide information about your organization's goals, the types of service opportunities you provide, and how a student or community member can engage with your group," a release said. "While we prefer that a representative from your organization is present to provide information and answer any questions, if that is not a possibility, you may set up materials prior to noon Tuesday and collect them around 5 p.m. the day of the event."

To host a table, please complete the online registration form at https://forms.gle/R4Yqk4XezAa2YMHw8 . People are invited to forward this email to other agencies/organizations you think may be interested in hosting a table.

People can call or text 406.399.1919 for more information.
