Ed foundation looking for new members

The Havre Public Schools Education Foundation is welcoming the public to its monthly board meeting Tuesday, January 21 at 5 p.m. in the Robins School Administration Building at 425 Sixth St. 

"If you are interested in volunteering and becoming a member of the HPSEF, feel free to join us on the 21st and reach out to [email protected] for more details," Foundation Interim Chair Casey Donoven said. "Thank you for all of your support and go Ponies!"

The Education Foundation helps financially support the Havre school district through scholarships and funding projects in the district. 

Last year, the foundation awarded $35,775 to 27 outgoing seniors and they are adding several more scholarships this year. 

In addition to awarding scholarships, the foundation secured $17,000 in startup funds for the FFA program at HHS and helped purchase an indoor ecosystem science project for Highland Park.
