Havre FFA storms Winter Districts Career Development Events

Tuesday, Dec. 10, Havre FFA traveled to Fort Benton for the FFA Winter Districts Career Development Events. Twenty-two members competed in Agronomy, Vet Science, and Mechanics. The chapter was extremely successful and they are excited to be qualified to go to the State Convention in April for the opportunity to represent Montana at the National FFA Convention in October 2025.

The Vet Science team placed 1st out of 6 teams with a total of 40 individuals competing. Lynsie Molitor placed 1st individually, Brooklyn Wilting 2nd, Callie Bebee 3rd, Lily Smith 4th, Heydon Olson 5th, Kami Scheele 6th, Maisie Ford 7th, Alice Bold 11th, and Maddie Dean 15th!

The Agronomy team placed 1st out of 6 teams with a total of 34 individuals competing. Rainee Komrosky placed 1st individually, Alice Bold 2nd, Brooklyn Wilting 4th, Heydon Olson 7th, Jevin Jenkins 9th, Ty Baker 11th, Lily Smith 14th, and Kaeden Weigel 15th. In the Junior Agronomy division, Kaeden Weigel placed 3rd overall!

The Mechanics team placed 1st out of 8 teams with a total of 52 individuals competing. Linkin Cloninger placed 2nd individually, Ethan Stortz 3rd, Royce Reum 4th, Eli Vaughn 8th, Trent Naber 11th, Aiden Nitz 14th, and Brody Hagstrom 18th.

Havre FFA will be hosting Spring Districts Feb. 4, which will consist of Leadership Development Events. People who are interested in volunteering their time to make this contest a success, can reach out to the Havre FFA Chapter Advisor Allison Denton at [email protected] to sign up.
