HHS grapplers open a new season at home

The Havre High boys and girls wrestling teams are set to kick off the 2024-25 season, and it should be another great year for the Ponies on the mat.

Havre head coach Beau LaSalle's teams will open the season with the two-day Havre Invitational this Friday and Saturday at the HHS gymnasium.

The Pony boys return All-State wrestlers Reed Mantle, Matt Lemer and Tommy Lewis, while the likes of Pierce Caplette, Grady Haney and others will make Havre a strong contender once again in the Eastern A.

On the girls side, Havre also returns a strong contingent of wrestlers including Brooklyn Wilting and Makenna Caplette.

Havre opens the season with the Havre Invitational Friday and Saturday at the HHS gymnasium.
