Havre Elks Lodge sets memorial service Sunday

Havre Elks Lodge (BPOE 1201) will conduct their annual Memorial Service Sunday, December 1st at 2:00 p.m. in the Lodge Room located at 321 2nd Street.

Lodge Exalted Ruler Matt Kretchmer, stated that this annual service honors the memory of Elks members who have passed away during the past year — as well as remembering those Elk members who have gone on before.

This years’ guest speaker will be Curt Curtis from the Havre Assembly of God church. The Havre Elks Lodge officers will perform the Memorial Ritual and special music will be provided by Yvonne Skramstad & Doug Jenkins. A time of fellowship and refreshments will follow the Ceremony.

Program Chairman Brandy Kurtz announced that the following deceased members will be honored: David Greenwood, Jack Van Koten, PER David Brown, Roger Galland, John Sharp, and Carol “Bud” Borlaug.

All Elks members, family and friends of the departed Members, and the Public are cordially invited and encouraged to attend.
