Havre volleyball season ends at Eastern A

The Havre High volleyball team had a strong season, but, the Blue Ponies' dream of making it to the state tournament came up a bit short.

Last weekend in Lewistown, the Blue Ponies lost to Lockwood in the first round and then were eliminated by Laurel at the Eastern A Divisional Tournament. The Ponies were swept in both matches.

Billings Central ended up winning the Eastern A by beating Hardin the title match, 3-1. Lockwood finished third, while Lewistown took fourth,

The top four teams from the Eastern A and the Western A advanced to this weekend's Class A State Tournament in Bozeman.
