North Star speech wins at CJI

The North Star Speech team clinched first place in their season opening meet hosted by CJI and placed third in Drama.  

In speech, C.J. Berton took first in spontaneous oral interpretation of literature, Ecko Fraser placed second in original oratory, Troy Barrett took third in humorous oral interpretation and Aydan Bettelyoun placed sixth in Lincoln-Douglas debate.  In drama, trio Jon Schaumloeffel, Joshua Campbell, and Cooper Clawson placed third in humorous theatre.

This Saturday, the team heads to Conrad, so wish them well.
