Pony runners shine at Malta Invite

The Havre High cross country teams wrapped up the regular season this past Saturday in Malta. And the Ponies did quite well.

On the girls side, Havre took 1st place as a team. Hailey Gingery clocked a 20:20.1 for the Blue Ponies good for a third place individual finish to lead the way for Havre. Marley Springer took 5th place individually with a 21:53.11.

On the boys side, Havre took 2nd place as a team. Mason Gregoire was the top individual finisher for the Blue Ponies taking 4th place with a 17:51.02. Koby Preputin had 7th individually and 2nd for Havre with his 19:17.0. Brayden Nimmick had 10th individually with a 19:45.5.

The Blue Pony cross country teams head to the Eastern A Fall Classic this Saturday in Glendive. Then it's off to the season-ending Montana State Cross Country Championships in Missoula.
