Our beloved wife, mother, sister, Nana and friend, Sally Spangler, passed away on October 9, 2024, after a brief illness.
She was 83. Sally was born to Claude and Margurite Eyer in Glendive Montana, October 18, 1940.
Sally is survived by her husband Jim Spangler; sister, Joan Haubein (Jim) of Helena, Montana; daughter, Michelle Day (Steve) of Tempe Arizona; step-daughters Terrie Fry (Jeff) of Phoenix Arizona, Becky Cowan (Tim) of Edmonds Washington and Judy Spangler (Bea Adkins) of Chandler Arizona. Sally also loved and adored her six grandchildren, Lori Cook, (Kenny) Jessica Farrell, (Corbyn) Katie Dideum, (Tyler) Christopher Cowan, Kyle Spangler and Shayna Foster, along with her seven great-grandchildren, Steven Cook, Gracie Cook, Riley Shirota, Tristan, Logan and Kinslee Dideum, and her brand new great-grandchild, Camryn Joy Farrell.
Sally's belief in God was unwavering. She was an active member of Beta Sigma Phi for nearly 60 years where she loved helping with many fund-raising events for local charities. She was active in politics and had a strong dedication to her country. She was an avid seamstress and loved decorating for the holidays, painting, crafting and baking cookies with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be missed by all who love her.
She is preceded in death by her brother, Wes Eyer of Montana.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Friday, October 18, 2024 (Sally's 84th birthday) at 11:00 AM at Praise and Worship Center, 2551 N. Arizona Avenue, Chandler Arizona.
