It was a happy homecoming for the Havre High football team.
Last Friday night, the Blue Ponies celebrated their 2024 homecoming with a 34-14 win over the Lockwood Lions. The victory pushed Havre to 3-2 on the season.
Havre dominated the game offensively as junior quarterback Griffin Terry threw touchdown passes to Aiden Moomey, Trey Gary and Colter Solomon. Terry also scored on a 31-yard touchdown run, as he accounted for five scores on the night.
Gary's huge night also included an interception, to go with touchdown catches of 37 and 13 yards.
The Blue Pony defense was stifling as well, as the Lions totaled less than 200 yards of offense on the evening.
Havre has a huge Eastern A game upcoming when they visit the much-improved East Helena Vigilantes this Friday night. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m. in East Helena.
