Obituary - Shawn Paul Harmon

Shawn Paul Harmon, who passed away September 1, 2024, was born in Havre August 13, 1965, and graduated from HHS in 1983.

His lifelong career was restaurant management, which he continued at Glacier Peak in Browning and East Glacier. He retired in 2024 due to a 7 1/2 year battle with cancer. 

Shawn met and married the love of his life, Patricia Old Chief, in 2005. He was an active church member. He served as Deacon, men’s ministries and volunteered in numerous capacities. He will be remembered for his integrity, patience, kindness and his love for all people. 

He is survived by his wife, Patricia; children, Marissa, Kamerynn and stepson Ryan; mother, Sandra Fields; sister, Dawn; aunt, Gwen Goar; five grandchildren and many other family members and loved ones. 

He was preceded in death by his father, Paul and brother William.

We want to extend a heartfelt thank you to the Old Chief family and Blackfeet community who loved and accepted Shawn as one of their own.

Services were held in Browning.
