MSU-N Rodeo rides in Glendale

The Montana State University-Northern Rodeo Team competed in its second meet of the 2024 fall season this past weekend.

The Lights and Skylights were at the Dawson Community College rodeo in Glendive over the weekend. 

Second-place finishes individually included Kenda Statham in goat tying at 14.9 seconds as well as Tobin and Talan Cummins in the team roping in 22.6 seconds. Preston Bird and Chance ThreeIrons finished just behind in the team roping competition, coming in at 24.7 seconds.

Georgia Orahood put together a fourth-place finish in the goat tying at 15.7 seconds, two spots behind Statham. Brittney Cox was a sixth-place barrel racer finishing it in 35.58 seconds.

Northern will finish the fall schedule at the Montana Western Rodeo Sept. 27-28 in Dillon.
