Blue Ponies split on the road

The Havre High volleyball team took to the road this past weekend for a pair of Eastern A matches. And the Ponies came home with a hard-fought split.

The Blue Pony varsity squad battled Class A powerhouse Hardin last Friday, coming up just short in a 3-1 loss. Still, the Ponies fought the Bulldogs all the way to the end in what was a great match.

Havre would bounce right back with a win over Glendive on Saturday. The Ponies beat the Red Devils 3-1 in Glendive to pick up a key conference win.

Havre's road trip continues this Friday when the Ponies head to Lewiston to take on the Golden Eagles in another key conference matchup. Havre's next home match will come on Sept. 28 when the Ponies host Glendive.
