Havre High golf plays tough courses

The Havre High golf teams are cruising towards the postseason, and, on their way, they'r playing Eastern A rivals and tough golf courses.

Last Thursday saw Havre travel to Glendive for the Glendive Invitational. The Pony boys shot a 381 with Matt Huse the leader at 84. Noah Barrett shot 91, while Callen Stoner came in with a 102, Ethan Elliott a 104 and Evan Alisch a 111. On the girls side, the Ponies shot a 465. Tierra Parker and Lilliana Smith each shot 1-9, while Callie Bebee finished at 123 and Madison Reber shot 124.

Havre got up the next morning and played the tough Sidney Invitational. The Pony girls finished second with a 448, with Smith shooting a 99 for 8th place. Parker shot 114, Bebee a 120 and Reber a 115.

The Pony boys shot 386, with Huse shooting an 88. Barrett added a 93, Stoner shot a 100, Alisch a 105 and Elliott a 109.

The Ponies travel to Billings and Laurel this weekend.
