The Montana State University-Northern volleyball team stayed hot this past weekend in Great Falls.
Coming off three straight wins, the Skylights got two more at the Providence Tournament last Saturday.
Northern beat Ottawa of Arizona in the first match of the day, by scores of 25-14, 24-26, 26-24 and 25-20. MSU-N then won a thriller over Evergreen State in five sets. The Skylights won that match by scores of 25-14, 22-25, 25-21, 20-25 and 15-9.
Led by seniors Alana Graves and Jesse Chvilicek among others, Northern improved to 5-1 on the young season.
Head coach Jerry Wagner's team will travel to Arizona for three more tournament matches this weekend. MSU-N takes on Benedictine Mesa, Ottawa and Arizona Christian this weekend.
