Pony golfers post excellent scores at Jawbone

After a short break, the Havre High boys and girls golf teams were back in action on Tuesday at the Jawbone Match Play Classic in Harlowton.

The Havre varsity teams played matches against Livingston and Lewistown, while there were junior varsity matches as well.

The Pony girls beat Livingston 41.50-40, as Tierra Parker shot 109, as did Lillliana Smith. Callie Bebee finished with a 110 and Madson Reber shot 118, while McKenna Delozier shot 121. Parker, Smith and Reber won their matches.

On the boys side, the Ponies lost to the Rangers by one point. Matt Huse and Noah Barrett each shot 86, while Quinn Elliott and Callen Stoner each shot 91. Evan Alisch rounded out the scoring for the Ponies with a 96. Alisch, Barrett and Elliott all won their matches outright.

The Ponies return to action this Friday when they travel to Lewistown.
