Dritshulas Collection on display at Clack Museum

The boards of the H. Earl Clack Memorial Museum announced a special display is available for viewing at the museum.

"We are pleased to announce the public opening of the special Dritshulas Collection at the Clack Museum," a release said. "The collection is on loan from Bill Dritshulas and features his private collection of local memorabilia.

The release said the display includes a large variety of Native American artifacts, antique musical instruments, Oriental items, Afghani items, and some antique Havre items of interest, including "Long George" Francis chaps.

The display was available to for viewing for Clack Museum visitors starting Tuesday August 20.

The usual Museum entrance fees will apply.

"This is a unique opportunity to view this unique piece of our local heritage," the release added. "Our thanks to Bill Dritshulas for sharing this valuable collection with our local museum. We are honored to be able to provide a home for this collection."

The Clack Museum is located at 2 Fifth Avenue in Havre; and its operating hours are 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.seven days a week until Labor Day; then 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
