Clack Museum board discusses report updates

H. Earl Clack Memorial Museum Board members met Monday evening to discuss updates on reports.

The Dino Trail saw 41 visitors in July, with 40 of them being stamped and one sold. Some additions to the gift shops this summer were copper buffalo coins, Zuul the dinosaur toys, and Dr. Seuss dino book, Clack Museum/Wahkpa Chu'gn sticker, a Dinosaur Trail sticker, and a Dinosaur Trail Museum postcard.

Raffle tickets for a quilt and a rifle are for sale at the museum. The drawing will occur after the October meeting.

An update of summer hours will be added to the H. Earl and Margaret Turner Clack Memorial Museum foundation's website at https://www.earlclackmuseumfoundation.org .

The 51st Annual Montana History Conference will be Sept. 26-28 in Great Falls.

Wahkpa Chu'gn saw 220 visitors at the buffalo jump. The damaged fence will be repaired and has a temporary stand.

The statue of Stygi, a casting of a rare Stygimoloch dinosaur found near Havre, outside of the museum will be getting a new base.

A new section in the museum dedicated to the longtime Havre business owners the Dritshulas family.

A beautiful of Native American clothing and other accessories are set up in the new display cases.
