Edna was born October 22, 1945, in Havre to Glenn and Kathern (Kuntz) Miller. She was raised in Havre, attending school there. In the mid '60s, Edna married Pat Stimson, and the couple had a son. Over the years, Pat worked in Butte and then Great Falls, and the family moved with him. They returned to Havre, where they finished raising their son, and where Edna worked as a waitress and then as a housekeeper. Pat passed away in 1984.
Edna was a crafty woman, who enjoyed knitting and beading, working puzzles, and reading. Watching her crime shows and "Yellowstone" was a favorite pastime, as well, and she loved to listen to early country music. Edna could always be found sitting at her kitchen table visiting with friends and family members or teaching her grandchildren how to bake cookies, make egg rolls or some creative ways to cook a pizza. Edna was stubborn and set in her ways but that didn't stop her from being kind and loving to whomever she met and was always willing to help if she could.
She was preceded in death by her son, Jon Stimson; parents, Glenn and Kathern Miller, and siblings, Keith Miller and Glenda Zemke.
Edna is survived by her grandchildren, Nicole (Bubba) Julian of Havre, Lance Stimson of Kalispell, and Brandy, Colter, and Ethan Stimson, all of Havre; bonus grandchildren, Mike Dunning of Havre, Cory (Autumn) Dunning of Billings, and Bryson Robertson of Helena; eleven great-grandchildren; siblings, Margie McMahon of North Dakota and Leo Miller of Havre, and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
