With training camps drawing nearer, both the Montana Grizzlies and Montana State Bobcats have their schedules coming into view.
This week, the Grizzlies announced kickoff times for their four non-conference games. The FCS is playing a 12-game schedule for the first time in almost a decade.
The Griz open their season at Washington-Grizzly Stadium against Missouri State, and it will be a night game in Missoula as kickoff will be at 7 p.m. Montana then travels to perennial power North Dakota on Sept. 7 for a 5 p.m. kickoff. The Griz then host Moorhead State and Western Carolina in back-to-back 1 p.m. games to close out non-conference play. Montana's. Big Sky schedule's times have yet to be determined.
Montana State hasn't announced many kickoff times, though their season-opening game at FBS New Mexico will be played in the zero week (Aug. 24). That game will kick at 2 p.m. in Albuquerque. The Bobcats have announced their annual Gold Rush Game for 6 p.m. on Sept. 7 against the Maine Black Bears in Bozeman.
No other Bobcat times have been announced as of yet, as TV rights are continuing to be worked out for the Cats and Griz. The annual Brawl of the Wild is set for Nov. 23 in Bozeman and will likely be a Noon kickoff.
