On Saturday, the Northstars headed up to Canada to take on the Vauxhall Spurs where they fell in a pair of district contest.
Vauxhall won the first game 12-2. Quinnn Elliott and Asher Sawdy had RBIs in the loss for Havre.
The Northstars kept game two closer, but, Vauxhall won 10-7.
Logan Kinsella, Chasson Mader and Terek Shipp were all stars at the plate for Havre, but, in the end, Vauxhall's offense was just too strong.
Havre did bounce back though, as the Northstars returned to action on Sunday with a sweep of the Fort MacLeod Royals.
Havre shuit out the Royals 7-0 in the opener as Shipp threw a 3-hit shutout. Tommy Lewis had three hits for Havre as well.
In the second game, Havre exploded for 18 runs as the Northstars won 18-4. Havre had 18 hits, led by four from Tyson Brandon while Ezra Pyle was good as well. Mader got the win on the mound for Havre.
Havre is now 15-12 overall this season. The Northstars return to Canada Wednesday to face Medicine Hat, before coming home to host Lethbridge and Fort MacLeod this weekend.
