News you can use
From Tee to Green
Great news! Beaver Creek Golf Course is back in business. BCGC announced on its Facebook Page earlier this week that it would re-open the course on Memorial Day after floodwaters from Beaver Creek has inundated the course earlier this month.
Craig and Heidi said on Facebook that #7 and #16 would be a Par 3 for the time being as work still needs to be done to restore the course.
Leagues will also be resuming soon, so that’s great news for BCGC. We are all happy to see the course back open, and lets hope Mother Nature will leave it alone now.
Last week inn Women’s League at Prairie Farms Golf Course, Ali Ward was low gross with a 42 and Patti Nault was low net with a 34. Tilleman Motors had 23.5 points for high team. Peggy Lamb, Jessica Faggerbakke, Katie Schlagel and E,i Smith made up the team.
In men’s league at Prairie Farms last week,
Tournaments will also be starting up.
At Prairie Farms Golf Course, the tourney season kicks off with the Golfing For a Cure Tournament June 8. The month will be busy as the Natalie Patrick Foundation Tournament will be held June 15, followed by the Northern Football Tournament June 22. The Rotary Blast is set for July 7, while the Duel on the Prairie Member-Guest Tournament will be held Aug. 2-3. Havre Youth Baseball and the Jamie Young Memorial are also slated for August.
