Havre school mill levy fails

Ingram, Larson re-elected to board of trustees

A mill levy school officials said was needed to support operations of Havre’ public elementary schools failed in Tuesday’s election, with 989 votes for the levy and 1,109 against.

In the election for two seats on the Havre Public Schools Board of Trustees, incumbents Jacob Ingram and Lorraine Larson kept their seats, with 1,416 votes and 1,500 votes, respectively.

Challenger Shanetrice Allen received 780 votes.
