Pony thinclads do well at Glasgow Top 10

The Havre High trend and field teams took part in the Glasgow Top 10 last Tuesday afternoon in Glasgow. And the Ponies who were qualified for the Top 10 did quite well.

On the girls side, Havre’s Kaydence Reiter finished second in both the 100 meters and 200 meters, while Macy Brandon finished first in the 400 meters for the Ponies. Freshman Ashlyn Ford took second in the 1,600, while Kyanna Jarvis took first in the 100 hurdles. Havre won the 4x100 with Macee May, Brandon, Jarvis and Reiter making up the squad, while Brandon, Ford, Jarvis and Reiter teamed up to win the 4x400 as well.

In the field, Roma Gum took fifth for HHS in the h=javelin, while Jarvis placed second in the high jump and Ari Gary was fourth. May rounded out the scoring for the Ponies with a third place in the long jump.

The Havre boys got a gold medal from Brayden Kimberling in the 200 meters, while he finished second in the 100. Shane Patacsil placed fourth for HHS in the 400, while Caleb Tomac won the 1,600 and Jayvon Bigknife was sixth. Mason Gregorie also placed third for Havre in the 3,200. Jacob Herring added a win for Havre in the 300 hurdles, while Ciaran Courtnage was third in the 110 hurdles. The team of Kimberling, Carson Harris, Brisbin Reiter and Michael Emge won the 4x100 relay for the Ponies, while Herring, Tomac, Emge and Rhett Wertheimer were third in the 4x400.

In the field, Tommy Lewis was fourth in the shot put, to round out the placing for the Ponies, who will host the Havre Invite on Saturday at the Havre Middle School Track.
