Havre Police Department

Offices issued a written or verbal warning after a caller from a business on the 700 Block of First Street reported a person tried to walk out without paying for items. An employee was able to recover the items but the person kept walking, the caller said.

Officers making a motor vehicle stop at 2:03 this morning on Second Avenue arrested Abigail Catherine McBeth on charges of driving under the influence, intoxication by drugs or alcohol, and operating a motor vehicle without valid registration.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies investigated a report made today from U.S. Highway 87 that someone had broken into the caller's house.

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Thursday.
