Havre newspaper switching to weekly starting in May

The Havre newspaper will be changing from a five-day-a-week daily to a once-a-week publication starting in May.

Grand Teton News Inc., of Wyoming, the owner of the Havre paper, notified the staff of the Havre paper this week that the daily publication will end April 30.

The paper will now be published on Thursdays only, starting May 2.

The paper will be available in racks and at retails outlets in Havre, and will be mailed through the U.S. Postal Service to subscribers.

Subscriptions will be available at greatly reduced rates.

The circulation department will be sending notices to subscribers to detail their options.
