A possible water main leak on 11th Street at 8:20 a.m. Monday was referred to Havre Public Works.

Officers provided assistance after a caller at a First Street business asked Monday at 8:51 a.m. for help evicting a tenant from the property.

A Fifth Avenue caller reported Monday at 9:28 a.m. that tie downs had been stolen off a trailer.

Officers responding to a 9:30 a.m. Monday report of a disturbance at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business helped resolve the incident peacefully.

A Monday 12:34 p.m. caller at the hospital reported a patient had a dog bite.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a speeding vehicle was reported in the Boulevard Avenue alley at 2:07 p.m. Monday.

Officers assisted a Third Street caller with a complaint reported Monday at 3:04 p.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a man was reported lying in the First Street West alley at 3:38 p.m. Monday.

A hit and run crash was reported Monday at 4:23 p.m. on First Street.

Officers investigated a complaint made on Fifth Avenue at 7:19 p.m. Monday.

A written or verbal warning was issued after callers reported a man acting strange Monday at 7:40 p.m. on Second Street Northeast.

A written or verbal warning was issued after an erratic driver was reported at 9:37 p.m. Monday on Fifth Avenue.

Kade S. Lanier of Havre, 27, was arrested on charges of driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license and no vehicle insurance after a vehicle stop in the First Street alley Monday at 9:49 p.m.

Payton Reese Fox of Hays, 19, was arrested on a trespass to property charge after a caller at a First Street business reported a trespasser was back on the property today at 4:21 a.m.

Officers assisted with traffic control for equipment transport today at 5:25 a.m. on U.S. Highway 2 and through town for a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies assisted Child Protective Services in the county at 11:15 a.m. Monday.

A written or verbal warning was issued after deputies initiated investigation of suspicious activity Monday at 8:40 p.m. on U.S. Highway 87 between mile markers 97 and 98.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after deputies initiated investigation of suspicious activity on U.S. Highway 2 East near mile marker 386 at 10:24 p.m. Monday.

Deputies investigated a theft, forgery or fraud on First Street Southeast in Box Elder Monday at 6:55 p.m. and opened a separate investigation at 7:39 p.m.

Officers assisted with traffic control for equipment transport Monday at 5:25 a.m. on U.S. Highway 2 and through town for a U.S. Highway 2 West business.

During the reporting period deputies assisted with five escorts or transports in the Havre area and one to the state crime lab in Billings.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Monday evening and one call early this morning.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two 12-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, five female cats, three male cats and a 23-week-old male kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held eight mixed-breed puppies between 11 weeks and 7 months old, six female and one male mixed-breed dogs, and one female German shepherd-cross dog. Additionally, five 12-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
