Hello, God. It's me, Mara.

Pamper yourself!

You know, Lord, a friend, "R.W.," shared how she loved to pamper herself; on and on she went. Some words were quite interesting. Tee hee. She said she loved to shower, to dry herself, using the nice thick towel Granny had given her, then she'd rub some aloe-oil on herself - oh my! She enjoyed that feeling.

She said that then she just might get some "routine work" done, wearing a mask, sometimes. She giggled, said that sometimes her "work" made her feel energized and refreshed, oh, and calming also, after fixing some unfortunate things in her "pile" of work, that "Katie" sometimes left for her to do.

She mentioned that she loved summertime when she and her siblings would get to take a trip to the nearby lake where they loved to float, swim, dive; just totally enjoying themselves. It depended on the time in summer, but they loved to hear the birds sing and smell the fragrance of blooming flowers. She said her brother could even smell the grass, even though she couldn't, then she giggled, stating that all three of them felt healthy and enjoyed the happiness, comfort, gladness and pleasure of playing in the lake. Her brother said that he felt revitalized after being there, especially having had a great time with his two sisters.

Before heading home, they'd take time to view the scenery, thanking God for His awesome creation, mountains, lakes, land, singing birds, and many other things that crossed their mind, remembering to express gratitude to God in the beautiful way He had made things for them to enjoy and for His blessings and love in their lives.

Bobby added: "Remember in Sunday School Class we learned Ephesians 5:20, 'Always give thanks for everything to our God and Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.'" They said amen and dashed back home.

Love, Mara
