Havre Police Department

Officers searched for but couldn't locate a vehicle that a 7:08 a.m. Monday caller reported was driving erratically on Fifth Avenue before turning down Second Street.

A caller asked Monday at 9:18 a.m. for assistance removing a man from a 10th Street West building. Officers searched for but couldn't locate the individual.

A 10:44 a.m. Monday caller asked to meet with an officer about vandalism at the 16th Street tennis courts.

--

A First Street Northeast caller reported Monday at 10:46 a.m. that someone had broken into the caller's apartment.

--

A Second Street caller asked officers to perform a welfare check on a child.

--

A 15-year-old was issued a summons on an underage tobacco possession or consumption charge after a 12:14 p.m. caller at Havre High School reported a juvenile with a vape device.

Officers contacted a Havre area person at 12:56 p.m. for a victim notification of an inmate release.

--

The Havre Fire chief reported a nuisance building on 11th Street West Monday at 4:59 p.m.

Thomas Walter Anderson III, of Havre, 35, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and resisting arrest when officers served the warrant Monday at 5:11 p.m. on the 800 Block alley between Second and Third streets.

A Third Avenue caller reported harassment Monday at 10:33 p.m., but no official action was required.

Officers performed a building check at 11:54 p.m. Monday on the Montana State University-Northern campus.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a noise complaint was made at 4:38 a.m. today on 10th Street West.

Officers served or attempted to serve several summonses Monday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies provided transport from Hill County Detention Center to a courthouse in Havre at 7:11 a.m. Monday.

Deputies assisted Rocky Boy Police Department Modday at 9:55 a.m.

--

An investigation was opened after someone stopped at the sheriff's office Monday at 10:55 a.m. asking for assistance.

--

An arrest on a warrant was made at the detention center at 5:34 p.m. Monday, but no details on charges were provided.

--

Deputies served or attempted to serve several summonses and/or warrants Monday.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Monday.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two 11-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, five female cats, three male cats and a 22-week-old male kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held eight mixed-breed puppies between 10 weeks and 7 months old, six female and one male mixed-breed dogs, and one female German shepherd-cross dog. Additionally, five 11-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
