Officers were asked at 7:48 a.m. Tuesday to escort a wide load through town.

Officers responded to a Tuesday 9:17 a.m. complaint of a vehicle speeding through the First Street alley.

A First Street caller reported at 9:33 Tuesday that a suspicious backpack was sitting along the west side of the caller's house.

A caller on First Street West reported Tuesday at 9:46 a.m. that another driver backed into his vehicle. The responding officer determined that there was not enough damage to warrant a crash report.

Officers provided a funeral escort on Fifth Avenue Tuesday at 11:35 a.m.

A summons was issued after a 1:54 p.m. caller at Have High School reported a possibly intoxicated student. No details on charges were made available.

Officers responded to a First Street West business after a Tuesday at 2:58 p.m. caller reported having a letter from the organization to have a woman trespassed from the business.

A Ninth Avenue caller asked Tuesday at 3:04 p.m. for assistance with a VIN inspection.

Two arrests were made after a Thompson Street caller reported Tuesday at 3:26 p.m. two intoxicated men to be removed from the caller's property. Details on charges were not provided in the dispatch log, but two men named as involved parties were listed in this morning's jail roster: Gordon James Bacon Sr. was listed as being held on four City Court warrants and a Cascade County District Court warrant, and Ryan Moses St. Pierre was listed as being held on three City Court warrants and charges of trespass to vehicles and two counts of theft.

Officers responded to a 3:54 p.m. Tuesday report of a man in the First Street alley who was having trouble standing, and responding officers transported the man to lodging.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Third Street caller reported a possibly intoxicated woman knocking on the caller's door at 4:58 p.m. Tuesday. Officers were called back to the residence at 6:35 p.m. for the same issue and they searched for but couldn't find the woman. The woman was issued a written or verbal warning later after a caller at a Fifth Avenue business reported someone outside yelling and cussing at 6:58 p.m.

A Tuesday 5:07 p.m. caller on First Street Northeast asked for assistance locating a family member.

A hit-and-run crash was reported at Havre Middle School Tuesday at 5:44 p.m.

--

A 10th Avenue caller asked at 6:03 p.m. Tuesday to speak with an officer about a neighbor who was harassing the caller and the caller's children.

--

Officers responded to a 6:56 p.m. Tuesday complaint in which the caller threatened to shoot the neighbor's dog if it attacked the caller's dog, and incident was resolved peacefully.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a woman was reported passed out at Third Avenue business Tuesday at 7:20 p.m.

--

Officers searched for but couldn't locate a brown-and-white dog reported running loose Tuesday at 7:55 p.m. on 18th Street West.

--

A written or verbal warning was issued after an 18th Street West caller reported at 8:30 p.m. Tuesday that a man threatened the caller's sister.

Officers responded to a Tuesday 9:02 p.m. report of people shooting off fireworks on First Street.

A theft of two packages delivered to a Fifth Street home was reported Tuesday at 9:25 p.m.

An arrest was made during a vehicle stop on Fourth Avenue West at 1:31 a.m. today. No details on charges were provided in the dispatch log, but Peter Douglas Azure, who was named as an involved party, was listed in this morning's jail roster as being held on two City Court warrants.

Officers responded today at 3:23 a.m. to a 15th Avenue report of a person who was bothering the caller and not letting him sleep and resolved the incident peacefully.

Officers initiated investigation of a two men on 10th Street who were peeking through windows.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

An off-duty deputy at a U.S. Highway 2 West business reported Tuesday at 11:17 a.m. seeing a vehicle that was possibly listed as stolen.

Aleisha Morningstar The Boy of Havre, 32, was arrested on a state District Court warrant Tuesday at 1:24 p.m. at Hill County Detention Center where she has been held since March 9.

A caller at Box Elder Schools reported at 2:29 p.m. Tuesday finding a THC vape device.

--

A Tuesday 4:01 p.m. caller on U.S. Highway 2 East reported a piece of a vehicle in the east bound lane.

--

Deputies were asked at 10:17 p.m. Tuesday to assist Rocky Boy police in Box Elder.

--

A deputy flagged down at a Box Elder business Tuesday at 11:20 p.m. made an investigation.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Tuesday.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two 10-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, four female cats, three male cats and a 21-week-old male kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held eight mixed-breed puppies between 9 weeks and 7 months old, six female and one male mixed-breed dogs, and one female German shepherd-cross dog. Additionally, five 10-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
