Montana Highway Patrol released a report Saturday about the death of a Chinook man after a single-vehicle car crash the afternoon of March 17 on Montana Secondary Highway 529, also known as Clear Creek Road.

Blaine County Sheriff/Coroner John Colby said the man who died was Larry Larson of Chinook, 68.

Highway Patrol reports that it is believed that a medical emergency happened prior to the crash.

The eastbound Chevrolet Silverado left the south side of the roadway at about 2:05 p.m. March 17, traveling in the ditch for several hundred feet and striking a tree with the passenger side of the vehicle.
