Friday saw the most well attended Havre-Hill County Library Easter Egg Hunt in years, with local children speeding through the shelves searching for colorful and elusive eggs, and the candy inside.
Children's Librarian Ashley Verity said this annual event has been going on for years, and this one went very well, with enough eggs to ensure had a good time and went home happy.
Verity said they couldn't do the event during the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic, and this has been the best attendance they've seen since then.
"I'm very happy, so happy I forgot to count them," she said, laughing.
The region offered a multitude of special church services for Easter as well as a variety of Easter egg hunts and other celebrations.
