Roy Walter McDaniel II of Havre, 20, was arrested on charges of aggravated driving under the influence, speeding and minor in possession and Jesse Strickland, 20, Braeden Romo, 19, and Jacob Buessing, 19, all of Montana but with no town listed, were each arrested on a charge of MIP after a vehicle stop on Fourth Street at 1:48 a.m. Saturday.

Hill County Sheriff's Office
Stuart Roland Lumsden of Havre, 72, was arrested on a partner or family member assault charge after a Friday 8:37 a.m. caller on River Road reported being afraid for their safety while a person was yelling at them.

Shawna Faye Small of Box Elder, 32, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and a charge of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant after a trespasser was reported on Main Street East in Box Elder at 4:14 p.m. Friday.

Deputies were asked Friday at 9:07 p.m. to be on the lookout for a possible missing person.

Jayson Klay Kohler of Havre, 27, was arrested on charges of assault with a weapon and partner or family member assault after an Eighth Avenue West caller at 4:07 a.m. Saturday reported a threatening man.

Deputies searched for but could not locate an erratic driver reported Saturday at 4:55 p.m. on Fourth Street in Hingham.

Elias Paul Lamere of Box Elder, 27, was arreseted on a warrant for revocation of a suspended or deferred sentence served Saturday at 4:16 p.m. while Lamere was being held at Hill County Detention Center.

Deputies were asked Sunday at 10:21 a.m. to assist someone on U.S. Highway 2 East and the incident was resolved peacefully.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Friday, four calls Saturday and one call early Sunday.

One engine and six firefighters responded to a shop fire on the 7200 Block of Highway 2 East Friday at 3:09 p.m., Havre Fire Chief Nathan Courtnage said. The small fire at the ceiling was put out prior to their arrival, he added, and firefighters checked for hotspots and cooled the roof. Courtnage said the fire, which caused minimal charring to the ceiling and some smoke damage, was started by a tractor that was being worked on and was running in the shop.
Havre Animal Shelter
This morning the animal shelter held three 9-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, four female cats, two male cats and a 19-week-old male kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held seven mixed-breed puppies between 7 weeks and 6 months old, six female and one male mixed-breed dogs, and one female German shepherd-cross dog. Additionally, five 9-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
