Havre Daily All Hi-Line Boys Team

What a season it's been on the Hi-Line.

The Box Elder Bears brought home a state championship, the Havre High boys went to state, and the Chinook Sugarbeeters moved up to Class B. In other words, it's been another remarkable year for boys basketball in our area.

And with that remarkable year came remarkable performances by incredible players. And the 2024 All Hi-Line Boys Basketball Team reflect that.

This year's team features players from across all three classifications in our coverage area, as well as six repeat performers, and players from their senior, junior and sophomore seasons.

Tracen Jilot, Box Elder

A junior who averaged almost 30 points per game, Jilot helped lead Box Elder to the Class C state title two weeks ago in Great Falls. He was named a Class C All-State performer for the second straight season, and a three-year starter for head coach Jeremy MacDonald. Jilot willl head into his senior season as possibly one of the top high school recruits on the Treasure State.

Tre Gary, Havre

Gary is making his second straight appearance on the All Hi-Line Team. A Class A All-State performer this season, Gary was also a First-Team All Northeast A standout for the Ponies, who reached the Class A state tournament. Gary will enter his senior season as an All-State standout in both football and hoops at HHS.

Ryan Doyle, Turner

Doyle makes his second straight trip to the All Hi-Line Team. A two-time All-State performer, Doyle leaves Turner as one of the top scorers in school history.

Teague Stump, Rocky Boy

It wasn't a typical dominant season for the Stars, but, Stump has been a bright spot. Averaging almost 20 points per game on the year, Stump earned Class B honors, and is on the Hi-Line Team for yet another. Stump also continues a streak where at least one Rocky Boy player has been on the all Hi-Line Team every single year since its inception.

Karson Pulst, CJI

Pulst is another repeat performer on the All Hi-Line Team. In his senior year, he helped the Hawks back to the Northern C, while averaging 18 points and eight rebounds per game. He is a three-time all 9C performer, while earning Class C All-State honors this season.

Shane Patacsil, Havre

For his efforts, Patacsil earned Class A All-State honors, as well as First-Team All-Conference. Patacsil is also a standout golfer at Havre High.
