Blue Ponies earn hoops honors

Four Havre High boys basketball players have earned postseason accolades for head coach Waylnn Burgess.

After a season that saw the Ponies make a run to the Class A state tournament last week, a pair of Havre High standouts were named Class A All-State.

Junior Tre Gary earned his second All-State nod for the Ponies, while senior Shane Patacsil, who led HHS in scoring was also honored with Class A All-State honors.

Gary and Patacsil and Jackson Headress were also named Northeastern A First-Team All-Conference this season, while junior Matt Huse was named Second-Team All-Conference. Gary and Patacsil earned All-Conference honors a year ago, while this was the first postseason honor for both Headress and Huse.
