Havre Youth Baseball registration deadline approaching

The deadline to register as a player with the Havre Youth Baseball Association is fast approaching.

People can register online to beat the Monday, March 11, deadline at https://ww.havreyouthbaseball.com .

Paper registration with payment can be dropped off at Havre City Hall or mailed to P.O. Box 772, Havre, MT 59051.

The association, which is not affiliated with girls fastpitch softball, has five leagues divided by ages. The player must be the minimum age for the category by April 30.

Tee-ball, for ages 5-6, has a $35 fee.

Rookie, for ages 7-8, has a $40 fee.

Minor, for ages 9-10, has a $50 fee.

Major, for ages 11-12, has an $80 fee.

Babe Ruth, for ages 13-16, has a $90 fee.

The association asks that checks be made payable to HYBA.

The association also is looking for volunteers, with categories “coach,” “assistant coach,” “board member,” “concessions” and “field worker.”
