Havre Police Department

William Joe Skidmore of Havre, 43, was arrested on a state District Court warrant and three Justice or City court warrants and on charges of obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and possession of drug paraphernalia after officers stopped at Second Street and 15th Avenue Thursday at 4:09 p.m. to serve the warrants.

Officers assisted Thursday at 5:42 p.m. with an equipment escort through town.

Michael Steven Schoening of Havre, 38, was arrested on charges of possession of dangerous drugs and possession of drug paraphernalia and on five Justice or City court warrants after a First Street caller asked Thursday at 6:40 p.m. for officers to perform a welfare check on someone.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller asked officers Thursday 7:57 p.m. for assistance with an intoxicated woman who was refusing to leave a First Street West establishment.

Thursday at 8 p.m., officers investigated a 24/7 Sobriety Program no-show at the police station.

Heather Lena Marie Lamere of Havre, 29, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and Karin Parker Sunchild of Havre, 55, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants, all served at a First Street West establishment Thursday at 8:10 p.m.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Thursday 9:29 p.m. caller reported someone in an orange coat sleeping inside the west doors of the post office.

A written or verbal warning was issued after officers stopped Thursday at 10:58 p.m. to speak with four juveniles screaming at someone at the viaduct on Seventh Avenue.

An 11:19 p.m. Thursday caller in Havre reported having issues with their alcohol monitoring device.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Derelle Sonny Fiddler of Box Elder, 25, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant served at Hill County Detention Center at 1:36 p.m. Thursday.

A theft, forgery or fraud was reported at a U. S. Highway 2 West business Thursday at 4:39 p.m.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to two calls Thursday.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two cats all of unknown gender, four male cats, two female 9-month-old kittens, one female cat and a 6-month-old female kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 10 mixed-breed puppies between 3 weeks and 25 weeks old, five female mixed-breed dogs and two male mixed-breed dogs. Additionally, two 21-week-old puppies, five 4-week-old puppies and one 8-week-old puppy were being housed off-site.
