Officers searched for but couldn't find a dog reported in a chicken coop on Washington Avenue at 8:50 a.m. Wednesday.

A 3:53 p.m. Wednesday caller on 11th Street reported they had been involved in a vehicle crash, but the other driver left the scene, and officers provided the crash reporting forms to the caller.

Officers provided assistance after a 6:56 p.m. Wednesday caller reported the hill at 13th Street and Fifth Avenue was hazardous.

Adam James Swan of Havre, 37, was arrested on a charge of partner or family member assault after a caller reported a domestic disturbance Wednesday at 7:50 p.m. on Second Street.

Jeremy Owen Walker of Havre, 37, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants after a disturbance was reported on First Street at 12:52 a.m. today.
Hill County Sheriff's Office
A Wednesday 3:27 p.m. report of a low-hanging power line 6 miles west of Box Elder was referred to NorthWestern Energy.

Two dogs, one with quilts in its snout, were reported on County Road 860 Northwest at 10:03 p.m. Wednesday and were taken to the county animal shelter.
Havre Fire Department
Emergency medical technicians responded to one call Wednesday.

Firefighters responded to two fire calls Wednesday, one to an alarm on the 100 Block of Third Street West at 3:15 p.m. that turned out to be for burnt food and the other, accompanied by an ambulance, for a report of fire odor on the 10 Block of Second Street but no fire was found.
Havre Animal Shelter
This morning the animal shelter held four cats all of unknown gender, two female 9-month-old kittens, one female cat, four male cats and a 6-month-old female kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 11 mixed-breed puppies between 1 week and 23 weeks old, one 7-month-old female Chihuahua puppy, four female mixed-breed dogs and one male mixed-breed dog. Additionally, four 19-week-old puppies and one 6-week-old puppy were being housed off-site.
