Colista Ranee Sutherland of Havre, 22, was arrested on charges of DUI, resisting arrest, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant and failure to notify owner of damage to property after a caller on 12th Avenue asked Sunday at 3:57 a.m. for assistance removing a person.

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Friday, four call Saturday, six calls Sunday and one call early this morning.

Firefighters responded to three calls Sunday, one to an 8:29 a.m. report of a downed power line in the alley on the 600 Block of 12th Street, where a NorthWestern Energy crew found it was a cable and the appropriate agency was notified; the second call was a 9:55 a.m. fire alarm to the 100 Block of 34th Avenue West where the alarm was triggered by burning sage; and the third call was to the 500 Block of 14th Street at 9:54 p.m. where a broiler element on an oven was found to be overheating and the oven was unplugged.
Havre Animal Shelter
This morning the animal shelter held one 9-month-old kitten and four cats all of unknown gender, one 9-month-old kitten, four female cats and four male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 11 puppies between one week and 7 months old and four female mixed-breed dogs. Additionally, four 19-week-old puppies and one 5-week-old puppy were being housed off-site.
