Havre Police Department

A caller at a First Street business reported a past burglary Wednesday at 5:01 p.m.

Orchid Lerae Adrianna Davis of Havre, 33, was arrested on charges of vandalism, resisting arrest and obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, two counts, and on five Justice or City court warrants after a caller at a First Street business reported a trespasser at 5:29 p.m. Wednesday.

Tessa Shayne Bigknife of Havre, 22, was arrested on four Justice or City court warrants after a caller at Rocky Boy Police Department asked Wednesday at 5:42 p.m. for assistance locating a vehicle that was in Havre.

A caller at 11th Street West an Boulevard Avenue reported witnessing a crash with a possibly intoxicated driver.

A 17-year-old was issued a summons on charges of driving under the influence, failure to stop and identify self after striking an unattended vehicle, failure to give notice of an accident, obstructing a peace officer or other public servant, under age tobacco possession or consumption, minor in possession and reckless driving after a caller on First Street reported at 9:12 p.m. Wednesday that a female driver had hit a parked vehicle then ran into a building on Third Avenue.

Devin Alexander Duke of Havre, 23, was arrested on charges of DUI and operating a vehicle without valid registration after a vehicle stop on First Street at 12:47 a.m. today.

Tanicha Marie Hudson of Havre, 22, was arrested on charges of aggravated DUI and reckless driving after a vehicle stop on Ninth Avenue at 2:15 a.m. today.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Meriel English of Havre, 21, was arrested on charges of aggravated DUI and driving with a suspended or revoked driver's license after deputies responded to a vehicle crash reported at 9:09 p.m. at 11th Street West and Boulevard Avenue.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to 10 calls Wednesday and two calls early this morning.

Firefighters responded, with ambulance assist, to five calls Wednesday, including:

• a fire alarm check at 8:30 a.m. on the 400 Block of Fourth Avenue;

• a 9:30 a.m. fire alarm on the 600 Block of First Street West which was canceled en route because the alarm had been set off by cleaning efforts;

• a 10:18 a.m. gas leak on the 500 Block of Fourth Street, which NorthWestern Energy also responded to and the business was informed that they needed to fix a leak at the meter;

• a 5:50 p.m. carbon monoxide alarm on the 400 Block of Third Avenue that turned out to be a malfunction due to bad batteries; and

• a sewer gas smell on the 400 Block of 10th Street, but no gas was detected.

Firefighters also responded, with ambulance assist, at 12:36 a.m. today to a report of an ammonia smell in a housing complex on the 100 Block of Ninth Avenue. The odor was coming from another apartment where someone was cleaning with Pine Sol.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two 9-month-old kittens and four cats all of unknown gender, four female cats, five male cats and one male 9-week-old kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held eight puppies between 18 and 22 weeks old and two female mixed-breed dogs. Additionally, four 18-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
