Havre Police Department

A caller at a First Street West establishment reported a fake $100 bill Tuesday at 9:29 a.m.

Officers provided assistance to a caller on Seventh Avenue who asked Tuesday at 5:15 p.m. for assistance getting the caller's child.

A Sixth Avenue caller reported at 5:15 p.m. Tuesday a small child's bike that had been leaning against a tree on the boulevard for two weeks.

Acoya Nathan Gopher of Box Elder, 26, was arrested on a charge of theft and on four Justice or City court warrants after a Second Street caller reported Tuesday at 10:01 p.m. that the caller's camera and alarm had caught a man stealing a battery charger off the caller's porch.

Robert Alexander McConnell of Havre, 43, was arrested on a state District Court warrant served on First Street Tuesday at 11:33 p.m.

Officers responding to a domestic disturbance reported at 3:59 a.m. today resolved the incident peacefully.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

A written or verbal warning was issued after a 7:38 p.m. Tuesday caller reported a man caught dumpster diving behind a Second Street West business.

Robert Alexander McConnell of Havre, 43, was charged for possession of drug paraphernalia during intake at Hill County Detention Center at 12:19 a.m. today.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to six calls Tuesday, including one call to Kremlin.

Firefighters responding to a 4:18 p.m. Tuesday fire alarm on Fourth Street found no signs of fire and reset the alarm.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held two 9-month-old kittens and three 8-week-old kittens all of unknown gender, four female cats and three male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held eight puppies between 18 and 22 weeks old and two female mixed-breed dogs. Additionally, four 18-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
