Gildford Colony Elementary trustee candidates may file for election

Nomination petitions must be filed with election administrator for the upcoming Trustee Election to be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024. No person signing a petition may sign more nomination petitions than there are trustee positions open.

No candidate may appear on the ballot unless he or she meets this deadline, as required by Montana Code Annotated 20-3-305, 20-9-204, 13-1-111, 20-3-338 MCA, no earlier than 145 days, or no later than 70 days before election.

This year, one trustee position is open for a one-year term.

Nomination petitions may be picked up from Election Administrator Richard Stahl at the German School located at the Gildford Colony.

Nomination petitions must be picked up and returned by March 28, 2024.
