The Montana State University-Northern cross country teams have announced the signing of Havre High School's Zack May. He will join both the Lights' cross country and distance track programs this fall.
In high school, May competed in varsity through all four years. After wrapping up his senior season, he was named the Most Improved Runner for his career. This past season, May recorded a personal record of 17:26.
May will be joining an MSU-N cross country program that just saw two of its runners compete individually at the Frontier Conference Championships this past fall. So May will be looking to help the Lights compete in the Frontier Conference when he joins the program. Along with running cross country for the Lights, May plans on studying plumbing at Northern.
