It's been a Hall of Fame year for Havre Blue Pony Marc Mariani.
Back in October, Mariani was inducted into the Grizzly Athletics Hall of Fame. Now, he can add the Montana High School Association Hall of Fame to his long list of achievements.
At last week's annual MHSA meetings in Helena, Mariani was announced as part of the 2024 MHSA Hall of Fame Class.
Mariani was a three-time All-State two-way player for the Blue Ponies, and helped lead them to the 2004 Class A state championship in football.
In what was a brilliant three-sport career at HHS, Mariani also won a pair of state championships in doubles in tennis with partner Gary Wagner, while also scoring points on four Class A state champion tennis teams. He added All-Conference and All-State accolades in basketball as well.
Mariani went on to a historic career with the Montana Grizzlies before playing in the NFL for five years.
Mariani currently resides in Nashville, Tennessee, with his wife Carly and their two children.
