Havre Police Department

Fred Nashookpuk of Havre, 38, was arrested on three Justice or City court warrants served after a caller at a U.S. Highway 2 Northwest business asked Wednesday at 10:22 a.m. for assistance removing a man and a woman from the premises.

A two-vehicle, non-injury crash was reported on Fourth Avenue at 1:02 p.m. Wednesday. Havre Fire Department responded with an engine and an ambulance and a wrecker was called to the scene for one of the vehicles.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a Jefferson Avenue caller asked Wednesday at 2:32 p.m. for assistance removing a man from the premises.

Officers assisted after a caller on U.S. Highway 2 Northwest asked at 5:40 p.m. Wednesday for assistance locating a juvenile.

A Third Street caller reported a vehicle parked almost in the middle of the road at 11:04 p.m. Wednesday, and responding officers found that the vehicle was broken down and the driver was waiting for a friend to help them get going again.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Deputies were called to First Street North Wednesday at 8:28 p.m. to provide assistance.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to three calls Wednesday.

Firefighters responded, along with the ambulance crew, to a vehicle crash on the 300 Block of Fourth Avenue Wednesday at 1:02 p.m.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held four cats of unknown gender, two female cats and four male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 15 puppies between 11 weeks and 10 months old, one female mixed-breed dog, and one male mixed-breed dog. Additionally, six 16-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
