Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to four calls Friday, at least one call Saturday and at least four calls Sunday. A call log for Saturday morning through Sunday morning was not received by print deadline and no one was made available to confirm whether or not calls were received in that 24-hour reporting period.

Firefighters responded to non-injury vehicle crashes Friday, one at 10:51 a.m. on the 500 Block of 10th Street and the other at 3:06 p.m. on the 200 Block of Fourth Avenue. No one was available to provide details.

Firefighters also responded to a Friday 7:29 p.m. report of a gas odor on the 2400 Block of Second Street West and to a Sunday 4:37 p.m. fire alarm on the 10 Block of Third Street West where no fire was found. No one was available to provide details.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held five cats of unknown gender, two female cats, four male cats and a 22-week-old male kitten.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 15 puppies between 11 weeks and 10 months old, one female mixed-breed dog, and one male mixed-breed dog. Additionally, six 16-week-old puppies were being housed off-site.
