After taking first at the Cut Bank Invite to open 2024, the Havre High wrestling teams will continue their season this weekend. The Blue Ponies will first compete in the Ronan Triangular tonight and will then compete in the Rocky Mountain Classic and the Hellgate Girls Wrestling Invitational in Missoula this Friday and Saturday.
At the Ronan Triangular tonight, the Ponies will compete against Libby and host Ronan. Then at the Rocky Mountain Classic and the Hellgate Girls Wrestling Invitational this weekend, the Ponies will wrestle against schools such as Belgrade, Bozeman, Butte, Columbia Falls, Lewistown, Gallatin, Helena, Missoula Hellgate, Polson and Whitefish.
Both HHS wrestling teams are coming off first-place finishes at the Cut Bank Invite, so their wrestlers will look to perform well again this weekend. Wrestlers such as Reed Mantle, Matt Lemer, Reinhard Bold, Tommy Lewis and Angelina Siebanaller are coming off first-place finishes for the Ponies.
The Ponies have many other wrestlers who will look to place again after doing so last weekend. On the boys side, Tucker Stygles, Isaiah Otto, Carson Harris, Tristan Stygles and Landen Caplette will look to wrestle well again. On the girls side, McKenna Caplette, Brooklyn Wilting, Brooke Nelson, Paloma Padilla and Aliyah Stiffarm will look to build off last weekend.
The HHS wrestling teams will compete in the Ronan Triangular in Ronan tonight at 4 p.m. The Ponies will then compete in the Rocky Mountain Classic and the Hellgate Girls Wrestling Invitational in Missoula starting this Friday.
