Obituary - Linda Alice Huso

Our beautiful and cherished Linda Alice Huso was born December 29th, 1946. She went home to meet her Savior Jesus January 3rd, 2024.

She is survived by her husband, Merlyn; daughter, Bobbie May (Bob); son, Colby Brown (Amy); stepsons, Brad Huso (Celia) and Scott Huso (Shannon); seven grandchildren, Baylor May (Erin), Alexandra McKay (Noah), Benjamin May, Marcus May, Landen Brown (Sarah), Leanna Marquart and Sydney Huso, and great-grandchildren, Leityn, Robin, Susanna, Rowen and Jessie.

Linda was preceded in death by her parents, Loren and Lois Harris.

She is survived by her siblings, Loren Terrence Harris (Patrizia), Vaughn Harris (Dorothy), Valerie Morris (Jiamie), and Mark Harris (Carolyn).

Linda graduated from Harlem High School in 1965 and started her professional career working as a bank teller. At that same time she enjoyed life participating and managing a dairy farm out of Buhl, Idaho. Later, Linda graduated from Northern Montana College, School of Nursing, with honors in 1978. She enjoyed a variety of experiences as a registered nurse in hospital and clinical environments, public health as well as home health care.

Linda enjoyed the outdoors as an avid hiker, canoeing partner and downhill skier. She also enjoyed riding into the Bob Marshall Wilderness with her husband, Merlyn, and Back Country Horsemen of Montana.

She had a smile that lit up the world.

Linda's family meant the world to her. She had a deep love in her heart for each one.

Linda wanted all her friends to know that she loved them and was deeply grateful for their support including her dearest "sister" friend Barb Fournier, special best friend Nancy Breeden, Diane, Ann, Cherie, Maria, Karia, Susan, Richard and Sharon Growney, and her neighborhood ladies.

A luncheon memorial open to the public is scheduled for 11:30 a.m. January 20th, 2024, at Our Redeemers Lutheran Church, 3580 North Benton Avenue, Helena, MT.

Simple Cremation Montana has assisted the family.
