Havre Police Department

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller at a First Street business reported a man sleeping by the office door Thursday at 9:36 a.m.

Child Protective Services in Havre made a report with Havre Police at 11:22 a.m. Thursday.

A written or verbal warning was issued after a caller on First Street West reported Thursday at 2:03 p.m. that people were in the alley drinking.

Officers searched for, but could not locate, three men reported Thursday at 2:22 p.m. urinating on garbage cans outside a First Street West business.

Justin Lance Doney of Havre, 51, was arrested on a Justice or City court warrant and charges of no vehicle insurance and expired vehicle registration during a Thursday 3:08 p.m. vehicle stop on First Street West.

A First Street Northeast caller asked Thursday at 3:32 p.m. to speak to an officer for assistance.

Officers investigated a complaint made Thursday 6:20 p.m. in the Havre area.

John Michael Segna of Havre, 33, was arrested on a charge of trespass to property after a caller at a First Street business reported at 7:20 p.m. Thursday that a trespasser had left the store and headed west.

Trae Vincent Kennerly of Havre, 24, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence after a 2:29 a.m. vehicle stop today on 12th Street.

Hill County Sheriff's Office

Thursday 9:19 a.m. reports of an abandoned vehicle on Taylor Road were referred to a service agency.

A a single-vehicle, non-injury crash in which the airbags were deployed after the vehicle struck a deer on U.S. Highway 87 at 5:51 p.m. Thursday was referred to Montana Highway Patrol.

Havre Fire Department

Emergency medical technicians responded to eight calls Thursday, and firefighters responded to a 9:29 a.m. report of a gas odor on the 900 Block of Eighth Street.

Havre Animal Shelter

This morning the animal shelter held a 20-week-old kitten and two male cats.

Also this morning, the animal shelter held 13 puppies between 16 weeks and 9 months old, one female mixed-breed dog, and a female and a male Rottweiler. Additionally, two puppies, ages 22 weeks and 6 months, were being housed offsite.
